Baptist Memorial Hospital for Women is the regional referral center for high-risk pregnancies, mammography, minimally invasive surgeries, outpatient diagnostics and urogynecology. Our physicians and staff proudly deliver quality, close-to-home care for patients in Memphis and the surrounding areas. Baptist Women’s Hospital is a member of the Council of Women’s and Infant Specialty hospitals and benchmark quality initiatives with the largest delivery centers in the nation. Our focus and education on severe hypertension in pregnancy is used by TIPQC, Tennessee Initiative for Perinatal Quality Care, as a resource for all Tennessee hospitals. Many other focused quality initiatives are maternal hemorrhage, optimal cord clamping, skin to skin, early initiation of breastfeeding, safe sleep, and inequities in maternal and breast health care.
