As a Senior Talent Recruiter for Children’s Mercy Hospital, I enjoy having conversations with potential candidates and learning about them and their interests. It’s how I’ve found some amazing people for this great organization. I specifically specialize in recruitment of APRNs and RNs. Children’s Mercy is recognized as a Magnet hospital by the American Nurses Credentialing Center which means we have some pretty high standards here! It’s beyond fulfilling to find the right person for a particular clinical need.

I’m also a volunteer at Children’s Mercy, which makes my role as a recruiter even more meaningful. Every Wednesday evening, I spend a few hours assisting staff on one of the floors of our hospital. This small opportunity to spend time with our patients and families is one of my greatest joys. It brings perspective to the work I do as a recruiter and reminds me that it takes special people to walk in some of these clinical shoes!

Beyond work life, I enjoy getting together with friends and family. As a transplant to Kansas City I enjoy exploring the city and all that it has to offer.
