St. Michael's Hospital Avera & Bon Homme Family Practice

St. Michael’s is a Critical Access Hospital, licensed for 25 acute care beds. The hospital boasts a 2 million dollar expansion of 12 patient rooms, one room for infusion therapy for outpatients, a nurse’s station, pharmacy, and chapel. The hospital offers swing bed care in which patients may have a short term to long-term residential stay. The hospital also sponsors the Bon Homme Family Practice Clinics Avera in Tyndall and Avon as well as Bon Homme Pharmacy Avera. A wide range of diagnostic and treatment services are available for outpatients and inpatients.

Community Information

Tyndall is home to more than 80 businesses, small industry and services, the Bon Homme School District, 5 churches and a volunteer fire department.  Area historic attractions include Bon Homme County Courthouse, Tyndall City Library, Bon Homme Heritage Museum, Tyndall Veterans Memorial Park and the Eiffel Tower Replica.
