Emergency Services at Texoma Medical Center (TMC) are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, providing care for unexpected injuries and sudden illnesses such as heart attack, stroke, fractures, respiratory infections, and more. Our 48-room emergency department features two dedicated trauma bays, advanced imaging suites, specialized psychiatric treatment rooms, as well as a decontamination area and isolation room.

TMC was recognized as Best Emergency Services in the Herald Democrat’s 2025 Best of Texoma Reader’s Choice Awards.

Designated as a Level III Trauma Center by the Texas Department of State Health Services, TMC meets rigorous standards for delivering advanced emergency care to patients experiencing motor vehicle accidents, heart attacks, and other traumatic injuries. TMC is also an Accredited Chest Pain Center and a Certified Advanced Primary Stroke Center by The Joint Commission.

In addition, Texoma Medical Center operates two freestanding emergency departments — ER at Sherman and ER at Anna. Both locations are open 24/7 and provide a full spectrum of emergency medical services, expanding access to high-quality emergency care throughout the region.
