COMMUNITY DESCRIPTION

Howell, Michigan is a growing, vibrant area in the state of Michigan. Situated just west of the cross of US 23 and I-96, Howell is 50 Miles west of Detroit, 35 miles south of Flint, 18 miles north of Ann Arbor, and 40 miles east of Lansing. The area offers access to convenient highway, rail and air transportation and has excellent schools.

As the County Seat, the City of Howell is centrally located within Livingston County with a population of 9,489. The downtown area of Howell offers a charming small town feel with a wide variety of local retail and dining establishments.

The Howell Area offers many events and festivals throughout the year including The Sunday Farmer's Market, The Michigan Challenge Balloonfest, The Howell Melon Festival and more! Livingston County, Michigan offers an abundance of things to do and see.
