UK HealthCare is home to Kentucky’s only Level 1 trauma center – providing the highest level of emergency care and serving as a critical resource for patients across the Commonwealth.
UK HealthCare has a Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit which cares for the tiniest and sickest newborns – giving them a chance not to just live, but to live normal, productive, happy lives.
UK HealthCare is 9,000 people all dedicated to providing the most advanced, most effective care available, not just in Kentucky, but anywhere. It is educators in our six health professions colleges teaching the next generation of doctors, nurses and other health care professionals. It is also researchers working to discover treatments and cures not yet even imagined.
UK HealthCare provides comprehensive care through a full continuum that includes UK Albert B. Chandler Hospital, Kentucky Children’s Hospital, UK Good Samaritan Hospital, Eastern State Hospital, UK King’s Daughters Medical Center, UK St. Claire Regional Medical Center, Kentucky Clinic, UK Polk-Dalton Clinic, Kentucky Clinic South, the UK Family Care Center, 80 specialized clinics, more than 140 outreach programs and a team of physicians, nurses, pharmacists and health care workers all dedicated to patient health.
