Covenant HealthCare is one of the largest, most comprehensive health care providers north of metro Detroit. Located in the heart of the Great Lakes Bay Region, Covenant is the sixth largest hospital in Michigan with 623-beds and the regions only Level II Trauma Center including air medical transport service. We have more than 20 inpatient and outpatient facilities including two major acute care medical centers and serving people from more than 20 counties across central and northeast Michigan. In addition, Covenant also has the only regional neonatal and pediatric intensive care units north of Flint.

As the region's preferred hospital and leader in electronic medical records, we support research, education and technology serving as a major teaching hospital in addition to providing training facilities for CMU 's brand new medical education program in 2013.

Covenant employs more than 4,000 employees and supports an empowered and accountable workforce that embraces diversity with a track record of clinical and workplace excellence.

Over 500 physicians from 52 medical specialties perform advanced techniques that are on the leading edge of medicine and offered at a limited number of Michigan hospitals.

Each year Covenant has more than 26,000 inpatient admissions, more than 3,000 new born deliveries, more than 21,000 surgical procedures and more than 90,000 emergency visits.
