Dayton Children’s Hospital is a 231 bed, Level 1 Trauma Center, Magnet certified free-standing tertiary care facility serving a 20-county area in southwest Ohio and eastern Indiana, and is academically affiliated with Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine. Our physicians hold faculty appointments at the Boonshoft School of Medicine. Dayton Children’s has a medical staff of over 250 specialty physicians representing forty-three medical and surgical divisions. Annually, Dayton Children’s cares for 101,675 ED visits, 560,000 ambulatory visits, 13,000 surgical procedures and 13,659 inpatient stays.
