Auburn, WA - In an effort to bring medical services closer to home for residents of Eastern King County, Franciscan Health System is opening the Franciscan Medical Pavilion - Auburn on February 27, 2014. This state-of-the-art facility will include family medicine, cardiology, vascular surgery, general surgery, digital X-ray, a retail pharmacy and on-site lab.
"The mission of Franciscan Health System is to build healthier communities," said Peter O'Conner, PhD, chief operating officer of Franciscan Medical Group. "Expanding into the Auburn community allows us to provide our patients with convenience by combining a number of our services in South King County into one location."
"This new medical pavilion really brings high quality care and services close to home for our patients in King County," said Tony McLean, president of St. Francis Hospital. "We will be offering same day appointments at our primary care clinic because we know our patients have busy lives and we want to make seeing a Franciscan family doctor as easy as possible."
Franciscan will be the anchor tenant and lease 21,000 square feet of the 38,000 square feet pavilion. The property was developed by Latitude Development. Architects were Jon Graves Architects and Planners, PLLC and Collins-Woerman. The project contractors were Donovan Brothers, Inc. and Aldrich and Associates. The pavilion is located at 205 10th Street NE in Auburn.
Services at the new pavilion include the Franciscan Medical Clinic offering same day appointments to see a family medicine physician. Franciscan Vascular Associates specializes in vascular disease and vascular surgery. Franciscan Heart and Vascular Associates specialize in cardiology, cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology. Franciscan Surgical Associates offers general surgery with a focus on colon and rectal surgery. Other medical specialties will rotate through the pavilion based on patient needs. Franciscan Pharmacy will offer prescription medications in addition to a variety of over-the-counter medications and durable medical equipment. On-site laboratory services will also be available.
