About Us

You’ll be joining a physician-led, not-for-profit health system with a top-ranked teaching hospital and one of the largest multi-specialty group practices with about 700 physicians and associate medical staff. Telemedicine, specialty outreach, electronic health records and digital imaging connect Gundersen Health System with our many regional clinics, affiliate hospitals and practitioners.

Gundersen Health System is ahead of the curve on environmental issues, technology, research and medical education. We are currently building a new six-story Hospital addition. Its energy-efficient design will move us toward our goal of being 100 percent energy independent by 2014. The addition will have new operating rooms with specialized technology; improved medical and surgical units; the most comprehensive regional Trauma & Emergency Center; and much more.
