We are a five-fold facility boasting an 18-bed critical access hospital and attached FQHC, 32-bed long term care unit, a dental clinic and an innovative mobile clinic. We have been caring for communities of the high plains of western Kansas since 1952 and our core philosophy is grounded in the values of trust, hard work, and the same independent spirit that inspired people who first settled in this area.
Our community is the seat of our county and is the truest definition of “small town.” We offer a variety of businesses, restaurants, clean neighborhoods, numerous parks and scenic areas highlighting the natural characteristics of small town Kansas. Our school district is well-known for its success and our people for their friendliness. We host many annual events, such as the County Fair and Carnival, Winterfest, the Rod Run and more.
