About the facility

We are a 25 bed Critical Access Hospital with 24-hour emergency services as well as a full array of health care services including diagnostic imaging, laboratory, rehabilitation, skilled care, and surgical services. Located in southwest Kansas, our motto “We Put our Heart in Healthcare” resonates strong with the community and other surrounding counties we serve where striving for excellence in patient care and quality is always assured.

Our Community

This charming southwest town is quite possibly the only town in Kansas to be founded by a woman. Marie DeGeer helped dig the foundational corners of the town with her owns hands in 1884 and to this day, we are a thriving and progressive community celebrating a comfortable, peaceful way of life.

This community is also an outdoor lover’s dream with an annual pheasant hunting contest and plentiful fishing spots. Take in the sights at the Historic State Park and view the breathtaking rock formations at sunset. Our community boasts multiple museums to immerse yourself in the town’s rich history. Shopping options and restaurants fill the business district. As well as multiple parks, a community pool, golf course, sports recreation complex, and indoor arena, making this town a fun, and family friendly place to live for all.
