"Our practice is blessed with 6 delivering Ob/Gyns, 3 subspecialists, and 1 practicing Ob/Gyn Physician set to join us in 2027. Our subspecialists are intricately woven into our practice, but also receive referrals from all over Birmingham, Alabama and nearby states; 1 is a Pelvic Pain specialist and the other 2 are Urogynecologists...under the "sub-name” ACUPP (Alabama Center for Urogynecology and Pelvic Pain). Our hospital has 2 Gyn Oncologists and an in house MFM as well. As you know, having them nearby is helpful, whether it is a curb-side consult or an intra-op consult, or managing complicated OB or Gyn patients. We have 7 delivering OB’s- 3 men and 4 women. The oldest is in his early 60's with no particular timeline of stopping OB at this point. Our youngest just joined us our of her residency program this fall! We would love to add 1 or 2 physicians in the coming year or two as we seek to expand access to compassionate & comprehensive care to the surrounding underserved Birmingham communities!

Our group has a desire to support and mentor the physicians who join us. We are busy, but we share the load, which makes it a joy to practice. Surgically- we help one another routinely…including our subspecialists. We are all robotically trained and thoroughly enjoy working with one another...we want to sustain this practice for the coming years and are looking for like-minded, young physicians to join us! One of the aspects that makes our group special is the basis for our practice, which is spiritual in nature. We all are Christians and practice medicine in a way that reflects that; in the way we interact with our patients and staff, make decisions, and interact with one another; this is counter-cultural these days, but not obsolete."
