About The Iowa Clinic
Launching in 1994, The Iowa Clinic introduced a new concept in healthcare to the Central Iowa Community: to provide a network of the pinnacle in medical providers within a physician-governed, physician-run, patient-focused business model. Today we are the largest physician-owned multi-specialty group in our community with more than 290 physicians and healthcare providers practicing in 40+ specialties.
Our primary location is a 170,000 square foot state of the art medical facility located in Wes Des Moines. We have multiple other clinic sites throughout the Des Moines Metropolitan area as well as numerous outreach clinics in rural areas. Our population base is 1.3 million patients averaging 556,000 visits per year. We are a trusted and frequent partner of other area medical centers and hospitals, providing additional levels of leading-edge healthcare for patients outside of our traditional base.
All of our physicians are board-certified or board-eligible in their medical specialties. We take pride in being the first in our marketplace to introduce many new treatment options and preventive measures across specialties. We also lead our peer groups with the implementation of diagnostic, treatment and administrative technologies.
