Michigan Heart is recognized nationally as a leader among large cardiovascular medicine subspecialty practices.  We are based out of Trinity Health Ann Arbor, Michigan.  Our Division of Cardiovascular Medicine is comprised of a single group with 30 cardiologists.  We have integrated with Trinity Health Ann Arbor, a member of Trinity Health, one of the largest Catholic health care organizations in the United States. Trinity Health is based in Livonia, Michigan.

We collaborate with our cardiothoracic and vascular surgeons (both single groups) within a forum called the Michigan Heart & Vascular Institute (MHVI).  Our practice locations span across much of southeastern Michigan.  Regional partnering hospitals include Trinity Health Livonia, Chelsea Community Hospital and Trinity Health in Howell, Michigan.

We have one of the largest noninvasive cardiology practices in the country with a full complement of services including echocardiography (including 3D), Transesophageal Echocardiography, Nuclear Stress, Noninvasive Vascular studies, Cardiac CTAs, and Cardiac MRIs. We have a comprehensive and rapidly expanding electrophysiology program including EP studies, VT and Afib Ablations, Pacemaker, and ICD implantation.  We also perform more than 1000 ablations and more than 1600 device implantations each year. We provide a full range of coronary interventional procedures including cardiac catheterizations, PCIs and complex CTO PCI. Our peripheral interventional program includes carotid, upper extremity, renal/mesenteric, aortoiliac, fem-pop and below the knee PVI and renal denervation procedures. Our structural heart program includes BAV, TAVR, mitral valvuloplasty, TEER, ASD/PFO closure, left atrial appendage closure, septal ablation and coronary fistula closure procedures. We have also been involved with clinical trials of left ventricular partitioning devices and stem-cell therapy.
