Led by Patrick L. Green, FACHE, senior vice president and Northeast Florida regional president, and affiliated with the University of Florida, UF Health Jacksonville and UF Health St. Johns are part of UF Health, the Southeast’s most comprehensive academic health center, with campuses in Jacksonville and St. Augustine, as well as Gainesville and Central Florida.
UF Health North is located in northern Duval County and is a 168-licensed-bed hospital and medical office building, offering emergency medicine, primary care and specialty services.
UF Health Jacksonville is located in Jacksonville’s urban core, north of downtown, and has 623 licensed beds, multiple medical office buildings, as well as the University of Florida College of Medicine – Jacksonville. It is also home to Trauma One Flight Services, a Level III NICU, and is the area’s only adult and pediatric Level 1 trauma center.
UF Health St. Johns consists of UF Health Flagler Hospital and soon UF Health Durbin Park Hospital. UF Health Flagler Hospital, has a 130-year legacy of caring for the community. The 335-licensed-bed hospital has been named among America’s 50 Best hospitals out of nearly 4,500 nationwide.
Opening in fall 2026, the UF Health Durbin Park campus will include a 99-licensed-bed hospital and a three-story medical office building. Durbin Park is an area adjacent to Nocatee in the northern part of St. Johns County.
UF Health has a range of medical offerings, with more than 100 specialty care options, including cardiology, neurology, oncology and orthopaedics. Combining its strengths with the UF College of Medicine – Jacksonville, it offers residents and fellows in Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia all the research and leading-edge diagnosis and treatment advantages of an academic health center.
About College of Medicine - Jacksonville (COM-J):
The UF College of Medicine – Jacksonville is the largest of the three colleges at the Health Science Center Jacksonville. The college's 16 clinical science departments house more than 500 faculty members, 1,560 staff and 450 residents and fellows, as well as medical students from UF and around the country. We offer an incredible breadth of clinical training programs and proud to train many of best primary care providers and specialists throughout the region, the state and the country.
