About Us

The University Hospitals Lake Continuing Care Center is home to the Center for Comprehensive Rehabilitation and the Center for Geriatric Psychiatry.

The Center for Comprehensive Rehabilitation provides advanced inpatient rehabilitation services designed to support recovery and functional improvement following illness, injury, surgery, stroke, complex orthopedic procedures, multiple traumas, and other medical conditions. The program focuses on restoring mobility, strength, balance, coordination, and independence through specialized rehabilitative care.

The Center for Geriatric Psychiatry specializes in the assessment and treatment of older adults experiencing complex behavioral health and medical challenges. The program offers integrated psychiatric and medical care, comprehensive evaluation and treatment services, and support for care planning and transitions.
